Well given I am 78, should start this with still here! It was the winter from Hell, almost 5 ft. of snow. Seemed to snow every day.
Some people ask me if I go South, well lets see daily routine, 2 hours snow or ice take you pick, 45 minutes walk the dog, 1.5 hours keeping 2 fires going, 4 hours doing cat chores and feeding them, 15 minutes feeding birds, so no. Last year the Theatre was down quite a bit, lack of movies, lack of rain, and hot! Hopefully Hollywood and the Weatherman will get their act together this year!
Last year Chris my neighbour who had 10 feral cats died, and as usual, no one wanted them, so they all wound up here. Add to that 2 more in the yard we are in the process of containing. To add insult to injury a flock of 100 blackbirds decided to stay the winter consuming, 1 large bag of cracked corn, and one large bag of Old Roy Dog Food a week. The reward a lot splatters on the snow.
